5.) Thrifted Silk Looking Chic

Something about wearing lots of dark colors makes me feel really Chic, like people would be interested in my fashion advice. The truth? Not so much actually.

I do not have triple siblings. I didn’t mean to pose almost exactly the same way three times, but when I found out that I had I decided to do this.

I saved a turtle today. He was scurrying along the side of the road in our office park trying desperately to climb the curb. Saved is a relative term, because when I got there he was only a few feet from one of those wheel chair accessible areas of the side walk. So he probably would have been fine, but I would have worried about it ALL DAY LONG.
So I turned my car around jumped out and gently lifted him onto the grass beside the road. He sat there for a little while looking around suspiciously with all his legs tucked in and just his head peering around for something to snap (I think he may have been a baby snapping turtle but I’m no herpetologist). Then he booked it down the hill to a little pond area.

LOVE that first pic! I accidentally pose the same way repeatedly and wind up throwing out the duplicates…this is such a creative alternative!

love this look–you DO look super chic! i think that’s why i rarely wear black… i don’t feel very comfortable looking “chic,” i just feel like a Pretender.
