Comfy Casual Blazer

Earrings: Just Creations, Necklace: Hand-me Down, Blazer: Brooks Brothers Boys via Goodwill, Shirt: Old Navy, Skirt: Express, Tights: Target, Shoes: GIFT!

So this outfit is from LAST Friday, we saw a comedy show. This is a pretty standard look for me on weekends in the colder months. Blue Jean skirt, fancy tights, heels, blazer. It’s warm AND kinda sexy. A costumer friend confirmed for me that this jacket is real wool. I was pretty sure after I read the fancy ‘Books Brothers Boys‘ tag, but I trust her judgement more than my own. These are just the first of the indoor shots you guys are probably going to be getting this winter, I think I just about have the settings on my camera figured out for indoor shots but I have to stand VERY still.

I am STILL loving these gifted shoes, the platform on them isn’t really that high (maybe an inch or so) and I really love the way they look in photos. But I still clomp around in them like a horse. I’ll have to do some housework in them this weekend (when my downstairs neighbor isn’t sleeping) to get more accustomed to the style.

We have plans to karaoke tonight, so I’m pretty psyched about that. Otherwise I have plans to work on my blog & do some of that sewing I’m behind on. Hope you guys have some awesome stuff planned as well.

      That’s what I love about thrift stores, low prices for things that are really high quality. It’s that thrill that keeps me going back into smelly gross looking places.

    (My friends and I used to go to “secret karaoke”, which is like normal karaoke only it’s in this weird, seedy-looking Chinese restaurant, one of those “you can only find it if you know it’s there” places. It’s super fun though.)
