Green Dress: Thrifted, Sweater: Thrifted, Shoes: Target

This is something I probably wouldn’t have picked out except for Kayla’s winter challenge. But I kind of love it. Then, I was afraid that maybe I only loved it because I’m totally infatuated with this sweater & green dress. But I know that it must look good because I got TWO really nice complements while eating lunch and reading Pride & the Prejudice. Which seems like I am trying to sound like an intellectual but I got a Kindle for Christmas and all the Jane Austen stuff could be downloaded for free. I’m not an erudite I’m just cheap. And I’m just genuinely enjoying this book. So ROMANTIC, perfect book for February, the month of LOVE.

I’ve never read it before (just seen some interpretations) so good though!

Am I going to get killed if I say I actually never read P&P all the way through? I can quote the mini series beginning to end, but something about the book makes me unable to get through it.

That being said, I love your interpretation of the look. So cute and so perfectly you.

Ha! I can’t possibly be mad because I have NEVER managed to finish the LotR series. Gag me with a spoon. I truly didn’t expect to really like P&P, I figured I’d get a couple pages in and call it quits. But nope, it’s kind of awesome.

Ohhh I didn’t know you could download all the Jane Austen for free, I just got a Kindle too! I am downloading tonight! Love the green dress as skirt on your and the sock/shoe combo is very sweet.

A lot of books that have an expired copywrite are available for free to download. So you can download LOADS of classics Shakespeare, the Bronte sisters, Dracula, Frankenstein, the Three Musketeer’s. I haven’t actually spent any money on content yet. (Also check with the Library, our local one lends them for free)

This is pretty much the most perfect Fair Isle sweater I have ever seen, and the green dress is such a perfect color to wear with it. I feel like the field behind you could definitely be used as a scene in a Jane Austen novel :)

Pride and Prejudice is one of my favorite books, hands down. And the color combination you have going on in that outfit is also one of my favorites. The colors are so springy! (I keep telling myself it’s spring because I will cry it it’s actually winter.) Great outfit!

The dress and sweater are both awesome on their own, but even more awesome together :)
