Skirt: Express, Shirt: Thrifted, Necklace: Just Creations (Fair Trade)

Changing my hair color has really changed my ‘coloring’. Where as previously I was a ‘warm toned skin with cool accents’ (flat brown hair & blue eyes), now I am discovering that all those maroon scarves & red tops I used to look good, now kinda clash with the red hair. I’m floundering a bit, I LOVE to wear color. (In case you are new around here.)

I think the mustardy yellow still looks good with the red hair.

I wore this to volunteer at the non-profit fair trade store in town. I always try to wear a scarf or jewelry item from there when I volunteer. Since I’ve been doing it nearly twice a month for almost three years there are plenty of fair trade items in my collection.

As I was walking home a man yelled out his car ‘You are rocking that look!’, which I consider to be a mostly acceptable thing to yell from your car. I can’t tell if it is people in Louisville, people in my neighborhood, or just me that prompt more street comments but now that it is getting warm outside I seem  to be the recipient of a lot more.
