Double Your Fun

I snagged this dress from the sale rack at Target for a couple bucks and wore it to work on Friday and then out to the ‘clubs’ that evening. I wanted to show off my ‘restyling’. For work I tried to keep it classy with a little undershirt and chunky necklace (to neutralize any cleavage), and some flats.

For the bar that evening I put on my very favorite tallest ‘karaoke shoes’. And got ready to dance the night away. I know, this one isn’t exactly a big swing. But I always love how much ‘cooler’ I feel in a pair of good heels compared to plain flats.

We’ve had a lot going on at the casa de Cline lately. So I’ve been a little absent from the internet. Sometimes even when I have time to blog it seemed important to make a little other things a priority. Like the boyfriend, reading fantasy novels, taking naps, and realizing that my brunette roots are REALLY obvious, so I’ll be stopping to get some pick-me-up dye on the way home form work today.

Sometimes a detail or two make all the difference. I love that you go all foxy on your wardrobe for karaoke prep.

I like this pretty dress! A good pair of heels can completely make an outfit, you know? I always feel better when I wear heels.

Beautiful lady, I totes saw this dress a couple weeks ago at my Target, but sadly, didn’t buy it. AAAAGH we could’ve been dress twins! I love the day/night restyling here. I didn’t think that little pop of blue would make a difference, but it totes does!

This dress was on the 75% off rack. There might still be one left in your neighborhood ;)

I love the way I look in heels, but my feet sure don’t.

Such a pretty dress Loren! Love both looks and how you compared them side by side. I need a trip to Target stat :)

I tried that dress on, but there was a gaping hole between the neckline and my chess… not good. It’s great on you though! And I must agree with everyone that you look fantastic in heels.

No fun to a big gaping hole. Mine is a little baggy on the top (nothing that can’t be fixed with the camisole though).
I do love the way heels look but they are kinda tough on my feet so I usually lay off them.

Aww, I love this dress! I think I remember seeing it at Target (not on sale at the time) and wanting this one and another one that was, like, chartreuse. I might have to do a Target run soon…

I love how you worked the first picture! I need to try that sometime!
I’m so jealous that this dress looks so fantastic on you– I saw it at Target, and loved it, but it was about 2-3 inches shorter on me than it is on you. Oh, well! You look great!

I just took two photos of myself and merged them together in photoshop.
Sorry that you are ‘normal sized’. I’m kind short and can get away with the shorter dresses usually.
