I’ve had short hair basically… forever. In about 5th grade my hair was ‘medium length’. For a while in college I could actually get it into a pony tail. But truthfully my hair is thin; fine; kinda wavy; prone to fly aways and tangles; and breaks easily. So it always reverts back to a short pixie cut. I think it’s much better this way. (And the drying time in the morning is super short).

But then I see people do all these things with their long pretty hair that make me kinda jealous because when I try to ‘style’ my short hair it really only has two options ‘product’ or ‘no product’. So I’ve been trying to work in a couple extra hair accessories. Barrettes slip right out of my hair so I moved on to headbands. I’ve been really enamored with the headband bows that I’ve seen a lot of bloggers rocking. (Lovely Lea wears hers on off days, Bodacious Brittany ties her bows on the bottom, Classy Catlin wears hers with stripes) I’ve seen loads more I just need to learn to Pinterest them…

The point is I tried it out myself  a little hair bow with some scraps from my ‘self-drafted’ dress. (Why am I always so verbose?) Check the photo. THE. END.
